Need Help Leveraging the Internet to Grow Your Business?

Check out the Small Business Internship Program from Industry Canada. The program is designed to help Canadian small and mid-sized companies who have been in business for at least 1 year.  If you have a website and can contribute 25% of the cost of the wages for a student, your business may qualify. 2) Productivity Investment Program (PIP) 

Need Help to Upgrade Equipment and Train Staff on New Technology or Processes?

Check out the jobsHERE initiative from the Government of Nova Scotia. jobsHERE is the provincial plan to create good jobs and grow a sustainable economy.  The strategy combines three components:

  • learning the rights skills for the job
  • growing the economy through innovation, and
  • helping businesses be more competitive globally

The Productivity Investment Program (PIP) will help companies improve employees' skills and purchase advanced equipment to become more competitive.

The program includes a Capital Investment Incentive (to purchase equipment), and 

the Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentives (to train employees for more advanced workplace skills).
